Så har årets Sundance Film Festival kommit till sitt slut. Tyvärr så lyckades ingen av de tre svenska filmerna som var med i tävlan vinna några priser. Dock kan vi istället glädjas åt grannlandet Norge och Eskil Vogt som lyckades vinna festivalens prestigefulla Screenwriting Award för manuset till “Blind” – som han även har regisserat. Årets stora vinnare var filmen ”Whiplash” om jazztrummisen Miles Tellers tid på USA:s bästa musikkonservatorium regisserad av Damien Chazelle. Ingen överraskning då filmen varit en stor snackis under hela festivaltiden.
